Now you may have to pay for Hulu. WHAT?!?! That's right, Hulu has a subscription called Hulu Plus. The package would make you pay a fee of $10 a month to watch old episodes of your favorite TV show. The good news is that the 5 most recent episodes of current shows would stay free. But, will they stay free for long? Mant think that "Hulu Plus" is just easing people into paying for all of the episodes. This subscripiton could be launch by May 4th.

Thats right, an unknown 12 year old boy spent over 1,300 dollars on the hot Facebook game, Farmville. This happened in the UK so it would be 900 euros. The game company who owns it, Zynga, is refusing to refund the money. For spending that much real money on a fake farm, that farm better be the best farm ever!

IPAD FOR HP?!?!

Thats right HP has come out with their new "Slate Device". It challenges the iPad. Unlike iPad it has a usb port, sim car slot, or and optional 3G modem. It has a 9 inch touch screen and will cost $599. However the iPad still wins in battery size. The iPad battery can last for over 10 hours, while the HP will get only 5 hours on a full charge.

On Friday night part of the Harry Potter set went up into flames! It was during a insane battle special effects sequence. At first there were rumors that the entire school caught fire, but it was only the school's courtyard. It took about 40 minutes for the firemen to put the fire out. Luckily no one was hurt. I wonder how much that will cost them!

The Razzie Awards were recently handed out! The Razzie Awards is the opposite of an Oscar. Instead of the best it is the worst. Transformers 2 won the Worst Picture Award. It also won Worst Screenplay. Micheal Bay, who directed Tranformers 2, won Worst Director. Worst Actress was givien to Sandra Bullock for All About Steve. Isn't it funny she won Bestr Actor the day after she won Worst Actor. The Jonas Brothers won Worst Actor, even though they played themselves.

Last night was the The Academy Awards. One of the most prestigious awards in the Best Picture Award. This year Hurt Locker won Best Picture! The director of The Hurt Locker, Kathryn Bigelow, also won best director. I personally was shocked about Hurt Locker being the winner. I would have guessed Avatar or Inglorious Bastards. Congrats Kathryn Bigelow and the entire Hurt Locker cast and crew!

Google has been working on software for a new special phone. This phone can instantly translate languages. It listens to the the full words and phrases, then translates it. New info to the brand new Apple iPad, it doesn't do Flash. Adobe, the company that has Flash, has released a statement saying that Apple is continuing to put restrictions on their devices that limit publishers and consumers. With out flash, iPad users will not be able to access 70% of games and 75% of video on the web. Apple says that Flash isnt an option becasue it has security risk and drains the iPad recourse.

I know this has nothing to do with media, but it is to funny. A man sentenced to life in jail, for homocide, sued his jail for taking away his Dungons and Dragons game. They refused to let him play the game. The inmate argued that not letting him play the game violated his rights of free speech. A FEDERAL court officialy banned it from prisons. The prisons lawyer said that the game "prmoted fantasy role playing, competative hostility, violence, addictive escape behavior, possible gambling, and gang related activity." Is the not one of the funny things ever taken to court.

Sony is making a deal where they would make a 3D sequal to Zombieland. Blood and zombie body parts will be hurtling toward the screen. The original production team is all signed on board for this bloody sequal. Zombieland seems a little more reasonable to go 3D, but what about Jackass?! Auto-captioning is coming to Youtube. It will you use technology similar to google voice. Uploaded videos will subtitled. Not only will this help the hearing impaired, but you will be able to change the language of the subtitles to understand videos in other languages. There are 51 different languages. An executive from Deff Jam Records was arrested for NOT updating his twitter account. An event held at the mall for teenage pop star Justin Bieber, got out of hand. The crowd go to big and out of hand. The police told the record company to tweet. It was supposed to urge fans to leave the mall immediately. He didn't do what the police asked. He was charged with endangering the well fare of a minor and abstructing government administration. They have of course pleaded not guilty. Isn't that crazy that just by a little tweet you can get arrested!

Azcap and BMI, the two main groups that represent and collect fees for song writer composers and music publishers, are trying to collect more money from itunes. More money for them means less in your pocket. Both groups might ask apple to pay a fee every time a customer plays a 30 second preview of a song. They also want to charge a fee for music used in downloaded tv shows. Many people in the industry suspect that this could cause a dramatic price increase through out all of itunes. At the D23 expo Disney announced that in October of 2010 they will be closing the Star Tours ride at Disneyland. It will be completely revamped up to the latest technology. It will use 3D visuals and brand new audio. The ride was first opened in 1986 and will reopen in 2011.

Universal Orlando is opening an extension for a Harry Potter theme park. It is 28 acres and features many of the Harry Potter attractions. Such as Hogwarts castle, the Hogwarts meet station and many shops were you can buy things from the movie. The visitors can even purchase chocolate frogs for the books and movies. Interactive games will tie into all seven of the books. It will be open by next spring. This is be a little slice of heaven for all Harry Potter fans.

It's about after the Apocalypse, when all humans are dead because machines have taken over. It is the harsh topic of man vs. machine. But one scientist brings his little puppets in hopes that something sort of human lives on. Now that the puppets are alive they have to battle the machines. The movie is supposed to be action packed, fun to watch and make you think. Lets hope it lives up to its reputation!

Scout Taylor-Compton, from Halloween 1 and 2, wasn't very freaked out about all the blood a dead bodies on set. Wanna know why? Because her dad was a MORTICIAN! Thats right Scout's dad dealt with dead bodies all day. Apparently she grew up in a mortuary for half of her childhood. Scout even used to help out! She would embalm the bodies. EW! So the fake dead bodies were nothing to her compared to the real ones her and her dad used to work on. Do you think that it's just a coincidence that she went in horror films?

3D TV!!!

Sony hopes to have a 3D TV out by 2010. How cool is that! Sony's CEO, Howard Stringer, announced that the company shall be releasing TV's, laptops, and PS3 consoles that can all play 3D media. Sony is going with the active shutter method of 3D. This method uses electronic glasses the rapidly open and close insync with the TV.
