PAY FOR HULU?

Now you may have to pay for Hulu. WHAT?!?! That's right, Hulu has a subscription called Hulu Plus. The package would make you pay a fee of $10 a month to watch old episodes of your favorite TV show. The good news is that the 5 most recent episodes of current shows would stay free. But, will they stay free for long? Mant think that "Hulu Plus" is just easing people into paying for all of the episodes. This subscripiton could be launch by May 4th.

1,300 DOLLARS SPENT ON FARMVILLE!

Thats right, an unknown 12 year old boy spent over 1,300 dollars on the hot Facebook game, Farmville. This happened in the UK so it would be 900 euros. The game company who owns it, Zynga, is refusing to refund the money. For spending that much real money on a fake farm, that farm better be the best farm ever!

IPAD FOR HP?!?!

Thats right HP has come out with their new "Slate Device". It challenges the iPad. Unlike iPad it has a usb port, sim car slot, or and optional 3G modem. It has a 9 inch touch screen and will cost $599. However the iPad still wins in battery size. The iPad battery can last for over 10 hours, while the HP will get only 5 hours on a full charge.

IPAD ALREADY HACKED

In a record breaking time the iPad has already been hacked. The hacker is called "Muscle Nerd". He had the iPad had not more then 24 hours after its release.

NEW CAPTAIN AMERICA

Chris Evans is the new Captain America. Captain America is one of the biggest Marvel superheros. There is a little dilemma though, because Chris Evans already plays a Marvel super hero, The Human Torch, in the Fantastic Four movies. I personally don't think the role would fit him, and he will NOT live up the original comic standards.

HOGWARTS ON FIRE!!!

On Friday night part of the Harry Potter set went up into flames! It was during a insane battle special effects sequence. At first there were rumors that the entire school caught fire, but it was only the school's courtyard. It took about 40 minutes for the firemen to put the fire out. Luckily no one was hurt. I wonder how much that will cost them!

CONAN ON TOUR

Conan O' Brian is officially going to tour. He will be performing in 32 cities. He will be joined by Andy Ricktor and the Late Night Show Band. The shows was given the hilarious name, The Legally Prohibited From Being Funny On Television Tour. Tickets are available on TeamCoco.com.

GETTING CLOSER TO 3D TVS

Sony is will be realsing their 3D TV. There will be a $32,000 40 inch TV and a $39,000 46 inch TV. It will be realsed in Japan on June 10th.

SOUTH PARK ON ROCKBAND?

The South Park cover of Pocker Face by Lady Gaga is coming to Rock Band. It is included with the Lady Gaga Rock Band package. The package also come with four other Lady Gaga tracks. These tracks are Just Dance, Monster, Bad Romance, and the real Pocker Face.

RAZZIE AWARDS

The Razzie Awards were recently handed out! The Razzie Awards is the opposite of an Oscar. Instead of the best it is the worst. Transformers 2 won the Worst Picture Award. It also won Worst Screenplay. Micheal Bay, who directed Tranformers 2, won Worst Director. Worst Actress was givien to Sandra Bullock for All About Steve. Isn't it funny she won Bestr Actor the day after she won Worst Actor. The Jonas Brothers won Worst Actor, even though they played themselves.

BEST PICTURE

Last night was the The Academy Awards. One of the most prestigious awards in the Best Picture Award. This year Hurt Locker won Best Picture! The director of The Hurt Locker, Kathryn Bigelow, also won best director. I personally was shocked about Hurt Locker being the winner. I would have guessed Avatar or Inglorious Bastards. Congrats Kathryn Bigelow and the entire Hurt Locker cast and crew!

ROCK BAND NETWORK IS LIVE

As of March 3 you can buy over 100 new songs in Rock Band. While the program was orginally organized to get unknown bands into the game, many bigger bands are on the list. All of the songs are immediatly playable. A few artist that are on the list are Of Montreal and The Shins.

MORE IPAD PROBLEMS

Due to a production problem, it may be harder to get. Instead of putting out 1 million, as planned, there will only be 300,000. They believe this could limit iPad to the US only, or even delay the launch. However, these affects will be mild in the long run. The Wall Street Journal still predicts 1.2 million iPads will be sold in 2010.

Thats right, Plants Vs. Zombies is now the number one most sold iPhone game. This Pop Cap game is king of the iPhone. It has been download over 300,000 times in just 9 days. Costing $2.99, it made over 1 MILLION dollars so far. Before it was an iPhone game, you could download on your mac or pc.

Amazon is now the most trusted brand in America. A new study from Milward Brown Market Reshearching, made a top 10 most trusted list. Amazon reached number 1! They asked cosumers questions like, "Would you recomend this brand?" and "How much do you trust them?". Congrats Amazon!

New Line Warner Brothers has hired David Dobkin to produce and possibly direct the new movie. He directed Wedding Crashers. New Line wrote a script that follows Rusty, the son, on his way to Walley World.

INSTANTLY TRANSLATING LANGUAGES VIA PHONE

Google has been working on software for a new special phone. This phone can instantly translate languages. It listens to the the full words and phrases, then translates it. This phone will be built on already known voice recogintion technology. If it works it will change communication through out the world. Google is expecting to have it out in a couple of years.

NO FLASH ON IPAD

New info to the brand new Apple iPad, it doesn't do Flash. Adobe, the company that has Flash, has released a statement saying that Apple is continuing to put restrictions on their devices that limit publishers and consumers. With out flash, iPad users will not be able to access 70% of games and 75% of video on the web. Apple says that Flash isnt an option becasue it has security risk and drains the iPad recourse.

AVATAR 2 ON ITS WAY

A preproduction on the Avatar 2 has already started! Technical film makers are already being hired to work on the sequal. They have signed 3 to 5 year contracts. Hopefully it will come soon and be just as amazing as the last one.

DUNGONS AND DRAGONS BANDED IN PROSION

I know this has nothing to do with media, but it is to funny. A man sentenced to life in jail, for homocide, sued his jail for taking away his Dungons and Dragons game. They refused to let him play the game. The inmate argued that not letting him play the game violated his rights of free speech. A FEDERAL court officialy banned it from prisons. The prisons lawyer said that the game "prmoted fantasy role playing, competative hostility, violence, addictive escape behavior, possible gambling, and gang related activity." Is the not one of the funny things ever taken to court.

RENT VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE

Youtube now offers rentals on the site! Five new film form the Sundance Film Festival are now for available for rental. The movie cost $3.99 for a two day time period. This is a test to see if larger film companies will put their movies on Youtube.

CONAN O'BRIEN IS OFFICAILY LEAVING THE TONIGHT SHOW

Conan O'Brien will for sure be leaving the tonight show. His final show was on January 23, 2110. He won't be leaving to unhappy though. He about $45 MILLION for NBC. However he won't he aloud to host another show till September of 2010.

The British show Torchwood is making its way to the US. BBC is making an American remake of the show. The original production team will be incharge of the remake. There are also rumors that some of the original cast will be in the remake.

Now anyone can upload song and sell them at the Rock Band Store. The service was designed to let small bands get there music out there to Rock Band fans(almost the whole world). Now you ca rock out to your favorite bands. However, bigger bands are using it to upload their songs. Many think that this defeats the purpose of the whole program.

Google Earth and Google Maps, will now feature images from the recent earthquake in Haiti. It is an over view of all of the destruction. They hope this will help aid organizations see the damage to the core. To donate to the red cross organization text "Haiti" to 90999. GHOSTBUSTERS 3 IN ON THE WAY!!!

Ivan Reitman has agreed to direct Ghostbuster 3. He directed the last two Ghostbuster movies. Reitman and Columbia pictures has been writing the script. Some writers fromt the hit shoe "The Office" are working on the script. They are set to start shooting next year.

CHINA HERE COME GOOGLE

Google has stopped censoring searches in China. They discovered a sypber attack from China. Many think that it is apart of Google's "Don't be evil" motto. Others think it is because the have struggled to stay in the online advertising of China.

SPIDERMAN 4 IS NO MORE

Spider-Man 4 the movie has officialy been scrapped. Sony has said that they will be not being moving forward at all with Spider Man 4. However they will restart it with a brand new cast and director in 2012. Also a completely new story line. The trouble started when Sony became unhappy with the directors choice of vilian. No word yet on who will be replacing everyone.

Disk Plus On Demand come out! Amazon wants to make it their movie sells better. Now if you buy a movie on Amazon you can have to option of instantly watching the movie. They will be able to watch it on their computer or TVO. However this doesn't apply to all of the movies. If this works Amazon will have "Disk Plus On Demand" will apply to all the movies.
